We have been friends with the Nix family for as long as we have been in Bentonville (6 years now!) Jess and I used to run together at 530 am (It was mostly her running ahead of everyone but I was there, ha!) and our boys have grown up in church together.

I remember the dinner I attended at our friend Shelly’s house a few years ago when she announced they were getting ready to start the process of becoming a foster home. Little did we know that one of the foster children entering their home would soon take her rightful place as their daughter. Piper Grace is the perfect addition to their family and as you can tell from these images, they are all SO in love.
